Migrating from Cisco on Prem to Teams Voice
We are about to start the process of migrating our voice infrastructure from Cisco Call Manager to complete Microsoft Teams in the cloud. We plan on porting all of our phone numbers from our current carrier to Microsoft using the port process in the Teams admin center. I wanted to ask if anyone has gone through this and what their experience was as far as porting numbers to Microsoft from their current carrier and how it went? Our organization is 1000+ and I'm a little concerned about getting that many numbers ported to Microsoft and assigned to the proper users efficiently.

Did you ever get these number ported?Damon Tyler I have been trying to port 3 numbers to TEAMS with no success.

dmiller3003 Yes, we got them ported. There were a couple hiccups, but it was not on Microsoft end. It was our former carrier that caused the issues. I suggest you reach out to their PTN group (mailto:ptn@microsoft.com). They were a big help.
