uniFLOW Online is a 100% Microsoft Azure cloud-based print and scan management solution enabling organizations and educational establishments of all sizes to manage their entire print and scan environment.
No servers, hubs, connectors or client software are required when Universal Print is combined with uniFLOW Online and Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices. Users print with their Windows PC to a single print queue and securely release their print jobs at any device after authentication, regardless of the network configuration including Zero Trust networks.
Extend the capabilities of Universal Print
uniFLOW Online is a natural extension of Universal Print and offers an holistic cloud solution that combines powerful features with straightforward administration.
Universal Print is responsible for the end user printing experience from connecting to the shared queue in Microsoft Azure to the ‘file print’ action in the application. uniFLOW Online extends the capabilities by adding:
- Secure Printing with a single universal queue
- My Print Anywhere; print release at any device
- Full accounting (print, copy, fax, scan), cost centers and reporting
- Support for other client operating systems, e.g. Mac and ChromeOS
- Mobile Printing and Mobile Printing for guests
- And much more
uniFLOW Online runs in various Microsoft Azure data centers globally and connects natively to Universal Print. uniFLOW Online registers a single print queue in Universal Print allowing users to use any printer in their organization to release the job, including those not supporting Universal Print natively. Moreover, users can select advanced finishing options such as duplex, hole-punch, stapling or copy count from either the Windows print dialog or the printer panel before releasing their jobs. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices can be registered to uniFLOW Online in bulk, making administration effortless.
Unleash the full power with Canon devices
uniFLOW Online is compatible with printers from any manufacturer but works best with Canon. The strong bond and joint development efforts which connect Canon and uniFLOW Online provide sophisticated solutions. Organizations can ensure that users authenticate at the device before releasing their jobs or restrict device functionality, such as the ability to print or copy in color, based on user rights. Print, copy, fax and scan usage is tracked so costs can be correctly charged back to users, departments or cost centers. The imageRUNNER ADVANCE also allows the user to print directly from and scan to cloud based document management systems such as OneDrive®, OneDrive® for Business and SharePoint® Online. Advanced scan workflows and OCR detection ensure seamless processing of documents.
