Unable to assign a co-organizer to a Teams meeting

Copper Contributor

I created a Teams meeting, added the Required attendees and sent the meeting invite. Per instructions, I went back into the meeting, and selected Meeting Options to then select one of the Required attendees as a co-organizer, but all I see is the message "To assign a role to a participant, invite them to the meeting individually." This is congruent to the instructions and videos I've viewed on this subject whereby the co-organizer list option is available for assignment.

If I create a meeting with one participant as the Required attendee, send it and go back into the Meeting Options, I can choose that one participant to be a co-organizer. The option is choose co-organizer(s) so that presumably you could select more than one.

Is something missing in our configuration preventing the Choose co-organizers option not to function as it should?

Thank you.

Hello @Ellen_J_AWC - Please confirm whether you are trying the above steps using Teams client directly or using Graph API?

@Ellen_J_AWC - While creating a Teams meeting using UI and adding few participants as required attendees in the meeting, when we try to add anyone/two of them as co-organizer, we were able to add them as co-organizer without any error/failure.

We tried in Teams desktop client. Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.25376 (64-bit).
