Developer preview mode not enable in Teams desktop (macOs)

FIXED: I came back and now have developer preview mode working. Perhaps the problem was just a delay between updating the policy in teams admin center.

Hello,

I'm having trouble getting the developer preview mode working on Teams desktop App in MacOS.

In the Microsoft Teams Admin Center the global policy is set to "Show Teams Preview Features" for everyone:

In MS Teams there is no About -> Developer Preview menu item.

If you select the Microsoft Teams icon in the Dock there is also no "Open DevTools" menu item.

There is no "Developer" menu bar in the top level menu items.

Also Option-Cmd-I does nothing.

Any advice you can give would be welcome.

thanks,

Andrew

I'm running 1.6.00.17554. It was last updated on 13/07/2023.

Edit: I have two profiles running in MS Teams. I notice that for my personal account the About -> Developer Preview menu does appear and works. However for my secondary account, which is a email address removed for privacy reasons MS generated test account, the menu item does not appear. I also note that if I enable DevTools for my personal account, it doesn't seem to work for my secondary account profile.
