Can a meeting bot detect when users enter and leave a meeting?

I can't find it in any of the docs, so I thought I'd ask. If you have a meeting bot in Teams and it is invited to and is in a meeting, can it detect when other users enter and/or leave the meeting? I want it to be able to log something like: Bob entered the meeting at 9:00 am, Bob left the meeting at 10:00 am.

Why not use the attendance report doing exactly this?

@adam deltinger  Unfortunately, that won't work in my case since you have to do it during the meeting and I need to do this via automation for a lot of meetings. I haven't found a Teams API where I can get this info.

@adam deltinger  Thanks for spotting that. That must be fairly new, I'm sure it will help a lot of people but unfortunately right now it only works with Live Meetings and I'm assuming you just download the csv report. It really seems like the Teams team isn't going to have an api to just get the data anytime soon, so I'm coming back to my original idea about having a bot in the meeting track the attendance and put it in my database.
