Site directory not found

Hello,

I have a Sharepoint Farm with Sharepoint Server 2016. One app on this Farm must archive the data for each day (sqlserver is our database). For every day we have defined a site in site collections. But for one day from that site we receive the error http 400 (bad request). 

Get-SPSite for that site return the error: "Directory not found".

My question is: a "delete/create new site" will resolve the error ?
