SharePoint

I have a list with columns that I have made mandatory however when I click on add new item only the title and description come up for user input. The item then gets created and I have to go to edit to update the other columns. How can I make it that when I click new item all the compulsory fields come up for input.

    Hi, could you please share some screenshots and also provide some more information on the SharePoint version, any customization has been done to the form?

      Thanks for trying to assist, I figured out the issue, i did not add the columns to my content types.
