Check in Check out is disabled, but documents are still listed as checked out.

Hello,

We had some document libraries that we turned the check-in/check-out feature on for. After using it a short time we realized it was more trouble that it is worth and turned that feature off. However, some documents are still listed as checked out. What do we do to completely eliminate check-in/check-out?

The owner of the document or you as the admin can force check-in them. Do note that doing this will overwrite any changes from the point the document was checked out, so you might want to also check with the person who checked out the document.
