Categories on SharePoint Calendar

At the moment, Sharepoint only allows you to select one category per event and only allows you to select either all or only 1 category to be displayed on a SP calendar.
It would be really good if you could either:
A. Have the option to mark an event as several different categories
B. Select several categories to be displayed on a calendar view as opposed to all or one
