I’m not sure you can sync from a subsite. I’ll have to test this tomorrow morning.

I have resolved my issue, I changed from the Restricted Read to Read permission on the sub-site, and then my user did sync their files.
Thank you so much for your support. I am so sorry about this due to I am a bit new with Online SharePoint.
