Dec 22, 2017it's not checking it in, you have to overwrite the document, so your essentially just replacing the file, therefore it was never checked out.
If you have the ability to upload that document without it prompting to overwrite existing document then that sounds like a bug, but if your getting that prompt, it's working as intended and not something you can change because your replacing the document, not checking out and checking in.

I am getting the prompt to over write the file. I checked out the file before the upload. It's indicated as checked out. Then when I upload it's no longer checked out. I thought since I had checked it out first then it would upload the file and then I could just check it in as a new version.
- DeletedDec 22, 2017when you check the file out it saves it locally to your checked out files cache, you have to edit the file direct, then use the check in button for it to work. Uploading another file with same name is just replacing the document and breaking the chain.
