Different Default Policies for email and documents

I feel that this is going to be a straight up 'not possible', but am asking anyway.


Is it possible to have two different default policies. One for Emails and one for Documents.


Basically, i want to apply a standard 'internal only' label to all documents created, but dont want this to apply to emails (as external recipients cannot view) and i dont want my users to be making changes to email protection levels.
