Automate the process of releasing a trusted email address from quarantine

Greetings guys,

I need to know if there is a way to move a trusted email address from quarantine and force it to go the needed recipients next time.

I have a trusted email address and every time I am receiving an email form that specific email address I have to release it from quarantine. Is there a way to automate this process.

Thank you

    Hi mghannaj,

Not sure about automating the release once the message is quarantined but you can prevent it from being quarantined.
In the short term, you can add the email address criteria to a safe sender list centrally or on the recipient's outlook client. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/create-safe-sender-lists-in-office-365?view=o365-worldwide

Longer term, you should investigate why the message is being quarantined and permanently resolve the cause. Microsoft says in the article above that "While you can use safe sender lists to help with false positives (good email marked as bad), you should consider the use of safe sender lists as a temporary solution that should be avoided if possible. We don't recommend managing false positives by using safe sender lists, because exceptions to spam filtering can open your organization to spoofing and other attacks."

    Thanks, Ash
