Project for the Web - Enhancements
Did Microsoft stop developing Microsoft Project for the Web? The What's new in Project page hasn't changed since September 2021, and I am wondering if they just moved the release notes somewhere else.

No, I can assure you that Microsoft has not stopped developing Project for the Web. However, the web page you reference certainly has "cobwebs", let's just say! To keep up with Project for the Web new features, refer to the M365 Roadmap page at:

Hope this helps.

Hope this helps.- cheffe55Copper ContributorIt seems that MSFT is putting much more effort in Project for the Web to replace Project Online. I've looked at the roadmap and the new announcements to integrate with Planner but my need is to do more portfolio management and figure out how to replace another tool.

Yes, Microsoft was planning on replacing Project Online with Project for the Web. So, for the past 4 years, Microsoft spent all of their development money on Project for the Web, and stopped doing any development on Project Online. However, at the Ignite conference several weeks ago, Microsoft announced that they ARE NOT going to eliminate Project Online after all. They will continue developing Project for the Web after rolling it into the Planner app. And if we get lucky, maybe they will start throwing some development money at both the Microsoft Project desktop application and Project Online/Project Server.
Hope this helps.
