Need to remove a value from a custom field

Copper Contributor

I'm needing to remove a Department value from a custom field that we created.  Is there any way to do that?  Backspacing, hitting delete, none of that seems to work.  I can change it to NA because we have that in our Department values, but I really need it to be blank again.  We are using Project Server 2016.

The answer to this question is so easy that you are going to fall on the floor laughing when I share it with you. To remove the value in the Department field, click the ... button at the right end of the field and then select the value you originally entered. The value will be removed. Hope this helps.
Thank you Dale! I knew you'd have the answer for me! And you're right... I laughed pretty good at this one! Leave it to me to not have tried that option.
Thanks for your quick response!
