Integrating Project for the Web (P4W) with Business Central

Hello

We are currently evaluating whether or not to utilize "Project for the web" (ugh, you really need to fix this) for our project needs.

Currently we do our time sheets in Business Central (a Dynamics 365 program) and would like to update the P4W "Effort" column. This requires some kind of API, perhaps even dataverse. 

How should be go about this?

The only option to interact with the Tasks table programmatically for Project for the web is via the Schedule API - see the docs here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/project-operations/project-management/schedule-api-prev...
