We are trying to use PWA for basic scheduling and resource assignments, limited Project Pro licenses. Choice of the organization to save costs on licensing. When assigning a Cost resource in PWA, the cost entered in a task level view in PWA does not assign the cost with the Cost resource in the ERP, only to the task as a Fixed Cost. When assigning Material resources in PWA, we want users to enter the dollar amount of the material (or non-labor) in the Units field (we make the rate = to $1.00) which is not editable from an assignment level view in PWA. I'm thinking this is because the Assign Resources feature of Pro and the resource assignment tab via the Task Information dialog box in Pro are not supported the same in PWA. Anyone try to use PWA for all types of resource assignments? Thanks!
