I'm just wondering if we can customize the template in creating task in Tasks by Planner and To Do in MS Teams?
For instance, we want to add an additional custom fields on it or we want to show the auto-generated reference# of each task?
Also, is there a way to retain the last filter applied? for instance tasks assigned to me? so that I don't need to click on it every time i access the planner

Basically, team members will see the task assigned to them by default but have the flexibility to change filter while manager can see all tasks.

Just wanted to post a reply out there so say "We need this exactly!" Without custom templates, MS Teams has very little to offer over other mainstream task managers.

@mmaralit this is a very good question. We need much the same, a customizable template a bit like GitHub or Trello
