Planner Notification

Hello,  we are trying to utilize the new Planner integration with Teams. We have a planner in the main Teams Channel. However, everyone who is part of that Teams Channel (a.k.a. the whole company) gets notifications when tasks are created in that planner. Is there a way to still use and keep that planner in that Teams Channel (so we can ensure everyone has access to it), but make it so that the planner does not notify everyone every time? Thank you.
