Enable email alerts when comments made/attachments added

My RFP Proposal Management team is looking for a feature in Microsoft Planner to send email alerts to assigned task owners when a comment is made or an attachment added. Currently, Planner only sends auto email alerts to recipients once they have been assigned a task or when the task has been completed, but there is no alert sent when updates have been made to the task. The issue our team is facing is that assigned task owners or (myself as a Proposal Manager) have to manually go into each assigned task to check if attachments have been added or comments made. Does this Planner function exist already or can it be created?
