Copy link to task not working in Sharepoint

As of last week I can't use the "Copy link to task" feature correctly anymore. When I use the link, it no longer opens up the task, it only goes to the channel. I've tried this on different browsers, different PCs and still no joy. Please can this be addressed?

Yes same problem here, the earliest report of this was in 2020! It is a problem specific to MS Planner generating links ... has nothing to do with MS project as suggested in the 2020 article.
