Color Coding Plans on Planner

Copper Contributor

Is there a way to color code individual plans that are within the same group? It is extremely difficult to organize multiple projects within the same group when all of them are the same color (the color of the group icon).

Hi @aylazertuche,

Microsoft Planner does not support color coding of individual plans within the same group. The color of the plan is determined by the color of the group icon.

However, you can use labels to color code and sort your tasks. You can select a color tab and type a label name to define labels.

If you find that labels aren’t sufficient for your needs, you might consider providing feedback to Microsoft through Microsoft Feedback Portal (Ideas · Community (microsoft.com)) or you can give feedback directly from Planner by clicking on Settings > Send Planner Feedback
