Assign planner tasks to a group not a user

Sometimes you want to assign a planner task to a group, so the group is notified about due dates.  This is especially practical if the group membership changes (for long term tasks).  Assigning to individuals is less practical, especially if they change groups or leave the organization.


Are there any plans to add the ability to assign a task to an entire group?

@8i5-5i1 You are correct! But it does not apply to all cases. I have a Group with many users in it. Some of the users will not be relevant to the tasks. The work around would be to assign the task to the user who need stay updated about the task.
