The new Outlook for Mac is a work in progress. There are a few features that are not yet available in it. I've tried it myself a couple of times but had to switch back due to a missing feature.
When you switch back though, you can fill in a form telling Microsoft why you have reverted.
The features will make their way into the new version in time.
- chrismeissAug 25, 2021Brass ContributorStill no news. How comes that public folders are so -badly- integrated into Outlook on Mac? The access to PF on the old version (by subscribing one by one), is ridiculous, as soon as you have a minimum of hierarchy within your PFs.
I guess some more people are pretty annoyed, because they actually PAY for corporate accounts, while Microsoft fails to provide a decent method to access the PFs in a corporate environment, even if the old version is -somehow- able to give access. Very disappointing. - MiscGrizOct 26, 2020Copper Contributor
Is this a missing feature for sure? Or is it something i'm missing?

Switching to the Legacy version worked for me. I was able to open tools and access public folders. If you don't see the toggle button on Outlook and you already have your 365 account signed in, click help and you'll see the option to revert to legacy. Hope this helps.
