PDF in outlook preview pane - known bug?

Being over 60, I have most of my monitors 'scaling' set more than 100% under windows 'display settings'

On one of those monitors, when viewing an attached pdf in email 'preview pane' (or 'reading' window) the pdf is always scaled beyond the boundaries of the outlook container window - regardless of how wide the window is stretched.  Which is quite annoying, as the only way to see the entire pdf document is to open it in another application (e.g edge browser)

Is it a known bug?  Is there any way to adjust that behaviour? :-}
