I had a customer who needed assistance with changing hi Microsoft Password due to a dialogue box always popping up asking him to enter his password. I had to reset it due to him forgetting it which was successful but when I tried to sync new Emails within the Mal 10 app, it asked me to Fix account therefore asking me to enter his new password for his Microsoft account. This unfortunately came back with password incorrect. I therefore had to remove the Email account from the Mail App and re add it.
I was unable to. I removed his Email account from the Settings > Accounts section of Windows 10 Settings menu. I was successful in removing and reading it but I had a problem with adding this to Mail app (as it added it but wouldn't take me to the Inbox) so I tried resetting the Mail 10 app. with success but still had difficulty with opening the inbox on Mail 10 after adding his Microsoft Email address so I added a Yahoo one which worked and took me into my Inbox. From there I added his account which worked but didn't display his inbox until I realised the Email option was not turned on in his settings of his Email address,
I noticed his didn't receive any Emails nor did his folders appear. I went onto Outlook.com on the web and into his Email account but low and behold all his emails had vanished along with his folders.
This sent me scratching my head as I only removed the Email address from the Email address section of accounts and not the Microsoft Account.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or what has happened and why his Emails n Outlook on the Internet have vanished along with al his folders?
He can however get some not all of them in Microsoft Outlook plus his folders.
I would like someone to reply to this message and give me some advice.
