Outlook vs Access

Question about Outlook, Ive created a contacts database with access, all good, but now I want to edit in Access, and then replace this edit to my contact list in Outlook, Can this be done, or must I edit my contacts in Outlook, which is long and tedious when compared to the MS Axxess spreadsheet style
