Outlook RULES are not working

I've been using the outlook "Rules" for years. Suddenly a few months ago they are not working. I have spent many hours on phone with Outlook tech support. Installed, reinstalled, repaired, new profiles, etc. Don't waste your time, nothing worked. It is a bug in one of the updates for Office or for Windows.


Now I spend the ENTIRE day going through emails, instead of an hour.

I have been begging Microsoft to fix the problem I NEED the rules to work!

We all know that RULES in Outlook are used for better management of emails & other Outlook items. These rules are crucial to managing mailboxes. However, sometimes these Outlook Rules stop working due to different factors. These factors include POP4 or IMAP account corruption, rules are not enabled, rules that get beyond the set quota of mailboxes, Outlook setting file corruption, etc.

You can easily fix these issues by:

  • Enabling Rules for your Outlook account
  • Rename an Outlook Rule
  • Deletion & recreation of Outlook rules
  • Change Email saving settings
  • Repair corrupt Outlook PST files
