Outlook msg. permissions issues

I use many Outlook templates .msg - all of which I created.  

All of a sudden I am getting a message saying I do not have permission to modify or change a vast majority of them.  Going to "Save As" as suggested just saves the issue to the next version of the template.  The security information all looks as it should!!  So completely baffled.  Any suggestions.
