Outlook, Android, Iinet

I have subscribed to Office 365 Family.  I have purchased a new Android Xiaomi mobile running Android version 11 RKQ1 201112.002 and have downloaded Microsoft Outlook.  I have attempted to set it up for my email address using various incoming and outgoing server settings advised in discussions with Iinet.  I either get an error message ‘the email and password are incorrect’ (they are correct) or ‘the server has been timed out’.  Iinet suggest I contact MS but that is a mission impossible so I am hoping the community can solve my issue.
