Office 365 files won't open through outlook

Open the temp internet folder - shell:cache is the shortcut to take you there - then open the Content.Outlook folder and delete the contents. You will need to show hidden items in File Explorer. Does that fix the problem?
Sorry for the insanely late response. But we did an installation repair and that fixed the issue.
