If I loose access to Outlook will events I created on my Google calendar disappear?

I just started working for a company that uses Outlook. I use Google for my personal life. I've synced them but since the two don't play well together the most effective thing I've found is to manage both my calendars from Outlook. My question is this, should I quit this job and lose access to my Microsoft account, will items I created through Outlook for my personal Google calendar also disappear or will they stay put in my Google account? I really don't want to try and manage two calendars in two separate places.
