Compliance locking is when ur account is put on a temporarily hold and most cases this happens when a person trys to complete a file transfer to verify ownership of the account and then what happens is Microsoft can not verify ownership so then it is locked then the original owner has to go to aka.ms/compliancelock and fill out the form then within 24-72 they will contact you back asking for all the information to verify ownership the information you will need is
:Gamertag
:phone number on the account
:old email that was on the account
:emails on the account
:old passwords
:New password:
:Devices you used on the account
:IP address
:Date of birth
:console type
:Console ID
:Xbox network device ID
:billing information on the account
if you had 2FA on when you got locked there is nothing Microsoft can do to unlock ur account sadly you might wonder why is this :method around it is normal protocol when somebody is trying to establish ownership of a account for it to go on hold until somebody can verify ownership
