Official documentation for the Skype Web API ?

Question to the Community:

What is the reason why Microsoft does not provide an official documentation for the Skype Web API which is being used inside of MS Teams ?

Microsoft wants to push customers to use the new Skype for Business Back-end technology but at the same time the API documentation is limited or even not available :)

maybe i'm missing something here

the only information we've found so far is just this...which is of course something "unofficial":

https://skpy.t.allofti.me/protocol/index.html

thank you

Interesting that the community is not really interested in an official Skype Web API documentation (new Backend) :(

At least it looks to me like that

Why is this the case ?

    • I would say everybody is waiting for the Teams API :-)...remember there is a transition from S4B Online to Teams

pretty bad that MS does not offer any Skype for Business MS Teams API at the moment.

(i'm not talking about the few MS Teams cmdlets and MS Teams Graph Beta API stuff)

i agree that the transition from S4B Online to MS Teams is an ongoing process, but i don't think that MS will take any of the old obsolete S4B Online Code towards MS teams (there are thousands of reasons why they start from scratch with the new backend)
