Microsoft To Do Desktop App Settings: Want option to compress list item height/spacing

Would *love* an option to compress the space between individual items in a given To Do list.  Could easily fit >=2x the number of items in a single pane vs having to scroll up and down.  How hard would it be to add tight, medium, and wide options for spacing?  My guess is not too tough a task.  How about it Microsoft?
