How to best review tasks (for example to demonstrate progress to a manager or team)

I’m using the app on the phone. Once one ticks to say completed it does not seem possible to untick (say if done by accident) or to run a filter or report to show ones manager what has been achieved over a given period (say the past month). Can this be done in the app. Or can this be easily achieved using a synched version on the web or using synched tasks in outlook?  Thanks.
