Teams Rooms proximity join - other O365 domain

Hi,

 

When I enter a Teams Room and want to use proximity join from the desktop app it does not work when my Teams users is in a different O365 tenant as the Teams Room device.
Proximity join seems to work only if the user Teams account is in the same O365 tenant as the Teams Room device ....

Is there a way to make this work ? We have customers with with meetings on different Teams environments / O365 tenants ....
