Teams MFA not working for specific User as guest in external organisation
Hello,
we have a specific user that got invited to participate as guest in another organisation. This has worked until recently. Now he gets a prompt to authentificate via authentificator app, but no such message appears in his app. We added a second 2fa option (phone) but that doesn't get displayed, when he tries to sign in as guest, even with Igcognito tab in a browser.
MFA works flawlessly, when logging into our teams organisation. Other users use the same guest access with their office 365 accounts without any problems.
What could be the cause for this?

- Hi, difficult to say. But it's the resource tenant who is responsible for AAD MFA for B2B users so I would start by reaching out to the other org. IT admin and force the user to re-register or perhaps if that doesn't work remove and add again.
