Teams device mode - meeting-invitation from outlook

Copper Contributor

Hi,

we use Poly Studio X30 with NATIVE TEAMS MODE with a default teams licenced user.

If someone sends this user a meeting-invitation from windows teams app, it is possible to join this meeting with Poly Studio.

But if the meeting-invitation was send from Teams Addon from MS Outlook, the meeting-invitation shows up on poly but it is not possible to join.

There is no additional configuration needed or possible on Poly Studio.

Thanks.

Hi,

Can you check in the calendar for that account used by the X30 if there is any difference on the meeting invites. They should look the same. Add yourself as delegate from Exchange Admin.

BTW, there is an license for these room devices so you don't have to assign a full user license.

No, both meetings are same in o365 calender. No difference.

How to delegate from Exchange Admin?

I checked the calendar again and there is the same issue, the Button in calendar overview only appears from meetings send from teams app. The only difference is the known teams users instead of the meeting send from outlook (only show the mail adress here).
