MS Teams - Citrix Optimization

Copper Contributor

We are testing the new MS Citrix Optimization pack and it's working great!  We did notice a different video meeting behavior when using MS Teams in Citrix vs. standard laptop.  Specifically, we noticed that when connecting to a video meeting via Citrix, the video shown was ONLY of the person talking, not all of the meeting participants.  This is unlike the experience when connecting from a standard laptop.  Following is a screenshot that captures the difference.

The reason this is important is because the ability to 'see' participants faces and reactions to what's being said is impacted/muted when you can't see their faces unless they are speaking.  Is this an interim behavior in Citrix [only]?  When our standard version is upgraded from 1.2.00.27559, can we expect the same behavior?  Hope this makes sense!

Have you had a response to this question?

On both Microsoft and Citrix documentation, this limitation is mentioned however for any change on this they direct us to ask Microsoft. Keen to get an answer to this as this
