Is there any option to disable Attach, Stream, Praise and other apps?

Hello,

Is there any option to disable Attach feature, Stream, Praise and other apps  when sending a Chat message or making a new post on channel?

Is it possible to disable File tab or hide it for users (in Teams and also Chat)?

Is it possible to disable option to create a new Tabs in Chat (as it is possible to do it in Teams)?

Thank  you very much

Michal

It is possible to do nearly all of that in either the Team Admins global policy settings - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/teams-policies

Team owners can also lock down some of the things you mention at the Team level - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Go-to-guide-for-team-owners-92d238e6-0ae2-447e-af90-40b1052c4547

You cannot disable the Files tab. Teams is just a wrapper for SharePoint, so it lives on SharePoint. Teams needs file access to function.

With that said, nothing is stopping you from changing the permissions for the Teams Document Library to make it read-only.

In chat, the Files tab is stored in OneDrive, and not SharePoint - so the users are sharing the files in their own file repository.
