Create a Poll in Microsoft Teams

Hi,

I want to create a Poll for students in my organization.

I have two groups. Group A has around 700 and Group B 300.

I tried creating a Team but this 1000 student's "went wild"! Messages started popping in the general channel and i had to delete the team.

Is there a better aproch that anyone can suggest me for starting a poll for a large number of users?

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? For polls you can just create a form with Microsoft Forms and send out the way you like ( a link)

If you need a team you canon the channel options set moderation, so that student can’t post messages
