Change Icon Colors?
How can you change the icon colors (NOT the image itself) for each team? Many of them show up as grey, by default, and I would like to change them.

NickOConnor If you apply an image to a team then take it off if will get a random colour assigned
- NickOConnorCopper ContributorAll the teams listed in the left side bar. Each team name is reduced to 2 letters in a square..... I want to change the color of the square.

Isn't it FRUSTRATING when people won't answer the question the first time? It was clear to me that they wanted to keep the default, but just change the background color.
You see MS, arbitrary choices in the era of hyper-customization is always going to raise questions. There are hundreds of setting in the Office apps that I never use, so we all figure there is the same thing in teams. Maybe we should be careful what we wish for LOL.
Thank you.

You can't unless the team owner allows it. Only they can change it. You have to click on the team icon while you're in the team and on the icon they should see a pencil. Click on it and then scroll down and pick the icon.
NickOConnor You can't change the colour but you can change the picture (upload your own), select Manage Team > Settings.
- What icon Are You refering to if not the Teams icon Where You can change the image?
- Regarding their default colors they do not follow the SharePoint theme which is changeable. Change it to a custom image is the way to go

Is there a repository of icons somewhere that are already the right image and file size?
