8x8 and Polycom integration with Microsoft Teams

Copper Contributor

Hello,  my company has a Polycom phone using the 8x8 Voice over IP system.  In the same room is a PC using an old Logitech webcam with built-in microphone.  The video quality is fine, but the microphone is terrible to the point it can't be used.  My question:  Is there a way we can link the 8x8 extension for the Polycom conference phone in the room, so we can use that as a microphone for the PC that's connected to Microsoft Teams?  If the phone can't be linked to Teams, is there a way to dial in to a Teams meeting where it can be used?  I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

Hi,

Second option is available. You can have Microsoft Teams Meeting with Audio Conferencing Licenses added to the Microsoft 365 Services and you can join the meeting using the PSTN Dial-In Numbers.

Note:- There is a change in the Audio Conferencing Licenses which is expected in March. Hence would recommend to purchase the Audio Conferencing licenses post March only.
