Hi Teams Community,

We have updated the previously released 1:1 Call Recording diagnostic to make it even more convenient:

In the case where AllowCloudRecordingForCalls is set to $false, and the user is not allowed to record 1:1 calls, the Diagnostic now returns detailed instructions on how to change that policy setting including direct links to the policy and the user in the Teams Admin portal.

Here's what it looks like in the Admin Portal (reminder, in your Admin Portal click on "need help" or under Support - New service request" - type in the shortcut Diag: Teams 1:1 Call Recording

Clicking on the link provided to modify the policy will launch the Teams Admin Center in a new tab and take you to the user's policy:

If you prefer creating a new policy, the two links - calling policies and user profile - will take you to the respective pages in the Teams Admin Center, opening the profile page for the user that you provided in the diagnostic:

Please give it a try and let us know in the comments if the new behavior is helpful to you.

Thanks!
