Were can i find contacts under Teams Preview Chat

Where can I find my contacts? These were always under the heading Chat

For example, I now miss my self-made contact list for quickly and efficiently seeing the right people for a consultation.

It's completely incomprehensible to me. I have chat groups and I manually add contacts to them.

When I switch to "Contacts" in chat, I can immediately see who is present and who is not.

Same with, for example, people who use Teams across multiple companies - I look to see which account they are currently active on.

The fact that I miss these options in the Preview version is strange. After all, many people must use it that way, not just me.

I agree, I use it the same way.

@SCDave - Same here. I use it in the same way. Very Handy. I don't seem to find it in the new teams Preview

I cannot believe the decision to omit this feature. Ridiculous!
For everyone finding it frustrating that this feature isn't currently available - don't forget that this is a preview release. There are also several other features that are currently missing compared to the generally available client. Just because a feature isn't currently available, that doesn't mean it won't be added before general release. It's possible they are developing a slightly different (and potentially better) experience to the original one, which may explain why it's currently missing. If there's a feature missing that you find useful, either just wait, or if you can't live without it, just switch back to the original client. It's also worth using the feedback option in the top right to politely mention that you use the feature and so are hoping it gets added before general release. If several people do this, it gives MS some information regarding which features people are really hoping for.

@db_uk I agree things do get added prior to release, I really hope this is the case with the contact list it will be a colossal mistake to leave this feature out of the final release.

I hope you'll be correct. Anyway, contacts are a basic feature for me, so I can't really test the preview.

Best regards.
