Anybody have a good knowledge how the Room System sign-in into Teams services in a scenario when "IsTeamsDefaultClient = $false" but "TeamsMeetingsEnabled = $true". So basically devices are still using on-prem Skype as a primary, but having Teams enabled as well. At the moment this is mandatory.
I'm asking this as trying to troubleshooting Teams sign-in problems on the device. When I'm looking for the sign-ins from Azure AD portal, that is empty, but that is empty also for working devices. So looks like the devices are not sign-in into Azure at all. How that can be happen? If I borrow a sign-in IDs from another device, that account is working on this device. So basic connections are available. In my mind this must have something to do with account itself (licenses are equals with working and this), but not sure what.
Does it use some hidden token for sign-in to Teams?
Obviously the sign-in into Skype on-prem is working normally.
I have had several similar cases where I have solved the problem by:
- reset the Teams folder on the device
- use the recovery package with option "recover"
- assigned external policy (FederationAndPICDefault) for account
Also in a previous case I asked help from support, but that was dead end.
