How to whitelist multiple company domains in Purview

Brass Contributor

Hi,

we have a customer who has 8 to 9 different companies under their tenant, they are their sister companies. While applying the DLP policy, "Block access outside the organization" those company domains are picked up as external, wanted to know how we can exclude those?

thoughts?

Thanks

Fahad.

Hi, @FahadAhmed,

As I mentioned on a separate post from you on here regarding excluding external domains from DLP policies, this can be done for Exchange-based DLP and Teams DLP policies.

DLP policy to block access to external organization however allow access for some external domains -...

However, you do not get this option with SharePoint and OneDrive DLP policies. Therefore, especially with companies as close as your client is to these siter companies, I strongly encourage you look into configure B2B with Azure AD.
