Policy conflict with a policy that a device is no-longer assigned to?

Hi,

 

Just something that has been bugging me for a while so I thought I'd ask the community to see if anyone has something similar.

 

I've got a AAD joined/Intune enrolled device (Windows 10 22H2) that is reporting a policy conflict.  When I view the conflict I can see that it's conflicting with an old policy, however this old policy isn't assigned to this device any more, the change was done some time ago so the device should no longer thinks its assigned this policy.  Is there a way to get the system to refresh or manually clear out this device still thinking it assigned this old policy?

Hi Rob,

I would try to exclude the device from the first policy and assign to the second one. Are you mixing Users and Computers in the profile assignment? Because this would create endless conflicts.

Thanks Moe, I'll give that a go. The profile was a assigned to device only.
