Intune SYNC stopped

We were troubleshooting with the Bitlocker issue where we had to enable a Group Policy locally on a desktop to test whether Bitlocker works and found that Intune SYNC stopped after that.

 

The Group Policy that was enabled was under 

 

Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Bitlocker Drive Encryption\Operating System Drives

 

Require Additional Authentication at startup (Windows server 2008 and Windows Vista) - Enabled.

 

Only this was enable to make sure that Bitlocker encryption was turned ON as it would not turn on in Dell Optiplex 7000 when we applied the bitlocker policy through Intune. So, from then on, the SYNC stopped working. Any ideas guys or Microsoft?

The policy you configured shouldn't result in breaking of Intune sync. Have you checked the device management event logs on the devices in question?
